Four days in Da Nang with young children

Travelling with young children, the pace matters more than the list of places. This sample post splits four days into short blocks with rest in between, so the whole family finishes the trip without anyone running out of energy. Every place name and time below is sample text for the layout; the site owner replaces it in Admin.
Before you go
Start with three small things: pick a flight that fits the baby's sleep, book a room near the beach or a park, and bring a separate bag for the children. If you have not chosen where to stay yet, see how to choose a family hotel. Leave longer breaks between two stops than you think you need, because small children take time to settle into a new place.
Pack by what is easy to reach: everything you need in the car goes in one bag and the rest stays in the suitcase. It saves time at every stop and the little ones do not wait long when they need a drink or a change of clothes.
Things you should not forget:
- ID for the whole family and the child's birth certificate
- Fever medicine, a thermometer and plasters
- A familiar snack for the child
- A thin blanket for the nap in the car
Day one: arrive and rest
Keep the arrival day empty. After a flight or a long drive children are often more irritable than usual, and a gentle afternoon by the sea helps everyone find the rhythm again.
- Check in and rest for an hour
- Walk along the beach in the cool of the afternoon
- Eat early and sleep early
A good trip for small children is one where every day still has a little energy left.
Editor's note
The rhythm of each day
The table below suggests how to split the four days. The site owner can replace it with their own plan and the table grows with the number of rows.

| Day | Morning | Afternoon |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Check in, rest | Beach walk |
| Day 2 | Park and zoo | Nap, play in the sand |
| Day 3 | A small museum | Market and a snack |
| Day 4 | Gift shopping | To the airport |
